I am Professor of Energy and Environmental Economics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and the Austrian Institute of Economic Research.

My research interests are in auction and market design, energy and environmental economics, industrial organization, and game theory.

Apr 08, 2025	My paper “Bidding in Multi-Unit Auctions under Limited Information” (with Kyle Woodward) was accepted at Journal of Economic Theory.
Nov 16, 2024	I was awarded the teaching prize (Lehrpreis) of the Department of Economics of the University of Konstanz.
Aug 09, 2024	The DFG decided to fund my research project “strategic uncertainty in market design” (“Sachbeihilfe”, three years, ~ 270,000 EUR).
Jul 24, 2024	I am on the scientific program committee for the 2024 European Winter Meeting of the Econometric Society.
